This past weekend, our volunteers organized several book drives in the neighborhood, collecting gently used children’s books for our African Library Project. They went door to door, explaining our library project to neighbors and friends. Their book donations provided great encouragement to our volunteers. These volunteers and their contributions are:
Neddy Cai: book drive in 3 days (Feb.21, Feb.22 and Feb.23), totoal 8 hours with 101books
Kevin Chen: book drive in 2 days (Feb. 22&Feb.23) total 6 hours with 82 books
Kaylin Chen: book drive in 3 days (Feb.21,Feb22, Feb,23), total 10 hous with 126 books in total
Anya McDaniel, Book drive on Feb. 22,& Feb23, total 4 hours with 60 books
Daniel Xiao: Book drive on (Feb.21, Feb.22 and Feb.23, total 6 hours with 81 books
Adult volunteer: Chaoying Zhang, 1 hour
