On Monday afternoon (No school day), our branch members picked up trash along the adopted greenway to restore the forest and prevent people from tripping. Volunteers wanted to protect the environment by cleaning up spaces around them. Plastic bottles and small pieces of junk are easily found along the walkway, which can be a serious hazard for pets and other local animals living in the woods. Removing junk also keeps the trail clean and verdant, giving people a sense of refreshment and comfort.
