On February 14th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members gathered the plastic bottles and cans they had been collecting since their last recycling event and headed over to their local recycling center. They sorted out their recyclables and made bags of 50 bottles each that could be exchanged for more money. They had brought glass bottles with them too, but the recycling center couldn’t take them so they were thrown away. They made $15.44 total.
