On Sunday, February 9, from 1:45PM to 3:45PM, the Aylus Great Neck Branch helped the therapeutic skating program at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink. We met the skaters. We were then assigned one skater to teach and guide them how to skate. Ally and Paris helped many skaters in need, guiding them inside the border and helping them in case they fell. Children and adults were helped. Ting and Alisha helped this new skater, supervising him to prevent him from falling. The rest of the volunteers helped with the other skaters that came as well. Overall the volunteers were able to provide a fun and safe event for the children and adult(s). Everyone had fun and we thank everyone who joined us for this event.
