On Saturday, February 8th, the AYLUS Greater Tulsa Branch volunteered with the Asbury Second Saturday Volunteers at the Tulsa Dream Center. The Tulsa Dream Center is a nonprofit community center located in North Tulsa which aims to help break the cycle of poverty by providing food, sports, and education services to children and youth.
The center held an activities day on Saturday and our branch was able to participate and help out. There were plenty of volunteers there who were split into groups to complete different activities, our branch was grouped with organizing, setting up, cleaning up the gym (the main activities area) and interacting with the kids.
Time: 4 hours (8:00am-12:00pm)
