The second online 3D modeling camp was hosted on 1/26/2025 and taught
by Jerry Yang and assisted by Kevin Chen. Students were introduced to
the Edit Mode inside Blender and taught how to use tools like extrude,
inset, bevel, knife, loop cuts, and learned additional modeling tips.
They also followed along to create a detailed table with guidance from
the instructors. Additionally, Jerry spent 2 hours making a PowerPoint
presentation with 28 slides going over topics covered in class along
with his own examples of models.
Our branch members volunteered from 11:00 am to 12:30 am, contributing a total of 5 volunteer hours:
– Jerry Yang: 2 hours (curriculum design and class slideshow creation)
– Jerry Yang: 1.5 hours (teaching)
– Kevin Chen: 1.5 hours (teaching)
