On Sunday, January 12, despite the freezing weather, two members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch, Luna Chen and Andrew Zhao, braved the cold to support Charles House. They collected beautiful flowers generously donated by Trader Joe’s and delivered them to Charles House, a nonprofit that provides care for seniors. The flowers were intended to be used in a creative art project with the seniors, brightening their day and providing engaging, hands-on activities.
This meaningful contribution is part of our branch’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of elderly residents in our community. We’re proud to be part of such projects and look forward to more opportunities to give back and make a positive impact on the lives of those who have given so much to our society.
