Murrieta AYLUS Lends a Hand to The Little Garden of Hope Project (51st) (1/11/2025)

On January 11, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members spent the day working at Jacob’s House garden. It was a harvest day, and the members were eager to collect the ripe vegetables. They carefully harvested fresh cabbage, tender yu choy sum, and crisp green onions, making sure each plant was washed thoroughly before being sent to the residents’ kitchen.

After the harvest, the team loosened the beds where crops had been gathered, preparing the soil for the next round of planting. They also fertilized the plants to promote healthy growth and collected the leaves in bags to compost, ensuring that nothing went to waste. It was a productive day, and the members felt a sense of pride in their contribution to both the garden and the community.
