AYLUS Orlando Supports Inspired Theater Company’s Christmas Special Production with Fundraiser Event (December 8th and 14th, 2024)

On December 8th and 14th, 2024, the AYLUS Orlando branch partnered with the Inspired Theater Company to support their annual Christmas Special Production. This event not only celebrated the holiday season but also allowed AYLUS Orlando to raise funds for our ongoing literacy initiatives, including covering shipping fees for donated books to Tito Peter’s Free Public Library in the Philippines.
The Inspired Theater Company hosted two magical performances, with one at a local church and the other at Oviedo on the Park. Both productions drew enthusiastic audiences and provided the perfect opportunity for AYLUS members to engage with the community while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Fundraiser Highlights
Participants worked hard to set up and manage a cozy concession stand at both events. Armed with our very own popcorn machine, members served freshly buttered popcorn, warm hot cocoa for the chilly evenings, and a variety of candy treats. Attendees enjoyed these festive snacks while watching the heartwarming performances, creating an atmosphere of joy and giving.
All proceeds from the concession sales were directed toward covering the shipping fees for books collected for Tito Peter’s Free Public Library, located in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. This community-driven initiative offers free access to educational resources, fostering literacy and personal growth in underserved areas.
