On January 5th 2025, Murrieta AYLUS helped total senior centers.
Given the residents were in better spirits, the volunteers put on a longer guided yoga session to stretch out muscles and improve balance. In the meantime, they also prepared snacks by cutting up bananas and spraying some whipped cream as a treat. Helping feed the treat to the residents who couldn’t feed themselves, they then cleared the spoons and plates so the residents could enjoy the New Years Rose Parade. While watching, the volunteers used gloves and lotion to give the residents hand massages. After the programming, the residents were taken to lunch.

On January 5th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out at their local senior center, Atria Vintage Hills. They arrived early to set up the toppings station, unlocked the fridge, and set up the tools. The members served ice cream to the seniors and visiting family members, making small talk as they worked.
