On January 2, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members worked at Jacob’s House garden, filled with joy as they saw the plants thriving, healthy, and ready for harvest. The team was eager to gather the ripe vegetables: fresh cabbage, tender yu choy sum, and crisp green onions. They made sure to wash each plant thoroughly before sending them off to the residents’ kitchen.
In addition to harvesting, members fertilized the plants to support continued growth and tidied up the garden by cleaning up fallen leaves. The team worked together to keep the space looking neat and well-maintained, ensuring the garden was in great shape.
