On Sunday, December 29, 2024, two members of AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch helped support Charles House by collecting flowers generously donated by Trader Joe’s. These beautiful blooms were delivered to Charles House, a nonprofit that provides care for seniors and those with dementia within the Carol Woods Retirement Community. The flowers will be used in a creative art project with the seniors on Monday, brightening their day and encouraging creativity. This effort is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and happiness of the elderly, and we look forward to more opportunities to give back.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Karen Lin (1.5 hours) and Eric Sun (1.5 hours).
