On December 18 2024, member of AYLUS dedicated their time and hard work to use the $180 raised from the movie night to buy hats, scarves, and socks for the refugees. They also carefully sorted, organized, and packed the winter clothes donated during the event to be sent to the refugee aid organization on December 20 2024 afternoon. This volunteered for 2 hours in total.
On December 20 2024, the children braved the snow to come downtown and delivered the warm clothing collected from the movie night to the refugee service organization Journey’s End Refugee Services. The staff warmly received them. The children listened carefully to the staff’s introduction and said that they would continue to support Journey’s End’s work and contribute to the refugees’ adaptation and integration into the new environment. Thank you for your love, thank you to the children, and may your efforts really help those in need. This took 2 hours in total.
