During the weekend of December 14th-15th, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch crafted handmade heart pillows for young patients in need. Each volunteer dedicated their time, skill, and compassion to ensure that every pillow was made with love and care. This project allowed us to come together as a community, united by a common purpose to make a difference in the lives of those facing difficult health challenges. It was a truly rewarding experience, knowing that our creations could offer comfort and a sense of warmth to children who needed it most. The gratitude we received reminded us of the power of kindness and the impact we can have when we work together to support those in need.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Eric Sun (6 hours on 12/14/2024), Luna Chen (3 hours on 12/15/2024), Owen Xie ( 6 hours on 12/15/2024) and Karen Lin (6 hours on 12/15/2024).
