On December 8, 2024, AYLUS Great Neck participated in volunteer activities at the farmers market at Great Neck Park District’s Winter Village event at Firefighter’s Park. For the event, we set up a table to raise funds for CP Nassau, with volunteers contributing from 11:30am to 7pm. Some volunteers arrived early to prepare the display, arranging handcrafted items—bracelets and crocheted pieces —made by our members to make the booth welcoming. Our volunteers enjoyed interacting with our customers, informing them of AYLUS’s initiatives. Lastly, we enjoyed networking with local companies such as Yaaas Tea and look forward to working with them in the future.
