On Friday, November 29th, AYLUS Houston members volunteered at Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) to support the shelter’s mission of caring for rescued and abandoned animals. This event provided a unique opportunity for volunteers to connect with the shelter’s dogs and ensure their well-being.
Throughout the 2 hour session, members assisted by walking dogs of various sizes, giving them one of their only chances for exercise and outdoor enrichment. This effort not only helped the animals stay active but also contributed to their overall physical and emotional health, making them happier and more prepared for adoption.
Citizens for Animal Protection is dedicated to providing care and finding homes for abandoned and rescued animals. AYLUS Houston was proud to contribute to this important mission and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these animals. We look forward to continuing our support of CAP and other organizations that share a commitment to animal welfare.
