During Thanksgiving, members of the AYLUS Morris branch joined forces with the nonprofit organization Help4All to organize a meaningful winter coat drive to support individuals and families in need. As temperatures dropped, the branch recognized the urgency of providing warm clothing to those struggling during the colder months. Through extensive outreach efforts, including social media campaigns and local networking, the team inspired their community to donate generously. Over the course of the initiative, 48 winter coats were collected, reflecting the kindness and solidarity of the community.
On November 28th, at 1:30 PM, AYLUS members, alongside Help4All volunteers, gathered to deliver the collected coats to a local church. The church served as a distribution hub, ensuring the coats reached those most in need before the winter season intensified. This collaborative effort not only provided essential warmth and comfort to recipients but also fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose among volunteers and donors alike. By working with Help4All, the AYLUS Morris branch amplified its impact, demonstrating the power of partnerships in making a difference. This initiative truly embodied the spirit of Thanksgiving, reminding everyone of the importance of giving back and supporting the community.
