On November 16th, 2024, two members of our branch volunteered at the Discovery Shop, which supports the American Cancer Society through proceeds from donated items.
During their shift, they efficiently wrapped delicate Christmas items to ensure their safe handling. They provided customers with clothing suggestions, assisted in carrying heavy purchases to vehicles, and reorganized clothing displays to enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, they helped customers measure dresser dimensions. They also gained valuable experience using the Point-of-Sale system. This opportunity allowed them to contribute meaningfully while developing new skills.
