Today, our team of AYLUS members have collected a total of 1,050 books for the 7th African Library Project. The African Library Project is dedicated to creating and improving libraries across Africa for children. AYLUS is proud to be able to collect books for the African Library Project once again. In the past we have shipped books to Botswana, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, and Lesotho. For our 7th African Library Project we have matched to ship the books to Kenya. The AYLUS team has used many different ways to collect 1,050 books. This includes collecting gently used books from friends or family, buying books, and more. We would later sort and ship the books to complete AYLUS’s 7th African Library Project.
