On 10/19/24, members of AYLUS Syosset headed over to Eisenhower Park to help the Cornell Cooperative Extension Farmers Market. At the market were multiple stands including stands selling vegetable’s, different type of jams and even flowers! Starting from 8:30 am volunteers helped stands set up tents, an activities table and an information desk. Volunteers worked from the morning to a little after noon time. At the activities table and information desk, volunteers gave out coloring sheets, information on the market and a general timing of when the market will close and open this season.
