On October 16th, 2024, two members of the AYLUS-Columbus branch, Brenna Li and Estella Li, held an in-person weekly tutoring session for the 2024/2025 school year at the Abbey Church Village in Dublin, Ohio. This community is part of the national church residences and serves low-income families, including new immigrant families. AYLUS Columbus members helped 9 elementary, and middle school students with their math, English, and science homework.
Essie’s dad, Jun’an Li, and Brenna’s mom, Dakun Wang, were the adult supervisors of the session.
