Chapel Hill Branch Bakes Homemade Cookies for Meals on Wheels on Oct. 13, 2024

On Sunday, October 13th, members of AYLUS Chapel Hill dedicated their day to baking homemade cookies for local seniors. Our volunteers prepared a diverse assortment of cookies, which were then thoughtfully packaged in cookie bags. These delightful treats are scheduled for delivery to Meals on Wheels the following morning. We believe that these cookies, crafted with care and love, will bring joy to the seniors and brighten their day.

We would like to acknowledge the contributions of our dedicated volunteers, as their commitment and effort made this initiative possible. We look forward to continuing our mission of service and engaging in more meaningful projects in the future.

Volunteers who participated in this event were:

Luna Chen (1.5 hours for baking & 1 hour for packing), Eric Sun (6 hours), Alwin Liu (6 hours), Andrew Zhao (6 hours), Owen Xie (6 hours), Matthew Guo (3 hours), Nicholas Wang (30 mins for packing)
