On October 12th 2024, AYLUS volunteers arrived at the McKinney Moon Festival to set up our stand and to fundraise for the Loops of Love Project for cancer patients. We sold hand-made bracelets, rings, and various balloon objects. Our face painting gathered a lot of attention with many kids in particular wanting one and was a big success. Even with the poor timing in the evening, which is when customer count usually dies off, we managed to fundraise over 200 dollars for the project, which builds chemo hats for cancer patients. Overall the fundraiser was a huge success and many volunteers got experience interacting with customers.
