At the Woodbridge Town’s Like Me Day, a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity, AYLUS Woodbridge partnered with the Friends of the Library at the Woodbridge Town Library to host a book sale event. Our volunteers played an essential role in making the sale a success, helping to sell a variety of books, including many children’s titles, to attendees. We assisted in setting up and manning the tables, engaging with visitors to promote sales, and share the value of supporting the library’s mission.
The revenue from this book sale will go towards funding initiatives that help the library better serve the local community, such as purchasing new resources, supporting programs, or upgrading facilities. By participating in the event, AYLUS Woodbridge contributed to a cause that not only encourages reading and literacy but also strengthens the community’s access to educational resources and cultural experiences.
