On May 21st, 2024, three students founded the 154th branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Summit, NJ.

Description of the Summit Branch:
The 3 founders have been attending Juilliard Pre-college and Manhattan Music School Pre-College. They’re entitled to numerous top prizes in national and international competitions for classical violin and cello. Meanwhile, they have been performing free concerts for seniors and offering free music lessons for young kids. Through their previous volunteer work, they realize that music is inspiring to all those who need help and support. Thus, live classical music should be shared with all, including young kids who can be inspired by the mellifluous art of many generations, and develop their own musical abilities. To better serve their purpose, the 3 founders have decided to create a formal team under AYLUS to apply their musical talents and make music accessible to communities of Central Jersey. The 3 founders have already built up great connections with local senior centers, libraries, and hospitals through previous volunteer experience. They will recruit more members to join the team, and help spread the positive impacts of music. The team will offer high-quality concerts at senior living centers, public libraries, hospice centers, and hospitals. They will also host free seminars and music lessons for young kids, to promote classical music.
