Chapel Hill Branch Hosts Donation Drive for Hurricane Victims on October 5, 2024

On Saturday, October 5th, members of the Chapel Hill branch teamed up with over 50 local Asian organizations in the Triangle area for a successful donation drive supporting victims of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. The turnout was incredible, with generous donations of essential items like canned food, water, blankets, and other vital supplies, ensuring that those affected received the assistance they needed. Our members also played a key role in organizing and loading all collected donations into vehicles for delivery to the CAFA-NC donation collection site, where they will be distributed to hurricane victims. This event truly demonstrated the strength of unity, as everyone came together to uplift our community during this challenging time. The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and are excited about future collaborative efforts!
