CicLAvia Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors

Please print, sign, and bring on day of event

CicLAvia will close the streets of Boyle Heights, Chinatown, Downtown, Echo Park, and Little Tokyo to cars and open them up to the community to walk, bike, run, skate and play. For CicLAvia’s 56th route, this free community festival offers an opportunity for attendees of all ages and abilities to explore 7.5 miles of car-free streets.

We will be helping with way-finding, slow zones, and dismount areas; providing participants with route and activity information; and signing people up for the CicLAvia mailing list and free drawing.

Free snacks will be provided for all and free lunch is available only for those who sign up for both shifts.

Mission

Our branch’s mission is to support the community of North Hollywood through community service, while also teaching student volunteers the importance of engaging in work that helps those in need. We will connect many students of all backgrounds and interests to volunteering opportunities in our area. We will work on projects that include fundraising, clothing drives, toy drives, homeless shelter assistance, and other various projects that we will effectively implement as our branch grows. Using these projects, we hope to directly improve the community and create a driven environment for students to be able to participate, lead, and take initiative in their own community service. Our members will participate in meaningful work and gain crucial skills as a result, including leadership, time management, and teamwork. Together, we will embody AYLUS’s core values of leadership, integrity, and innovation to build a stronger community for both our students and those we impact.
