On Friday, October 4th, 2024, 5 members of the Raleigh AYLUS Branch traveled to work at the Eastern North Carolina Food Bank in Raleigh, NC.
We helped to sort and packaging different types of canned food, organized and distributed food to others, and helped clean up the warehouse being used as a whole for future usage. Ultiamtely, we were able to process over 28,000 pounds of food equating to 2,400 meals and 750+ boxes of food to be distrubuted into the community. We greatly enjoyed working with the established workers and are excited to return!
