On the evening of September 28, 2024, nine members of our Frisco Plano volunteered at Russell Creek playground in Plano for a fundraising event. We set up tables and sold Shaved ice, cotton candy, and ice cream floats. It was the second time we sold float here and we hoped for a success. We aim to get funds to support the “Loop for Love Project”, where we provide chemo–hats for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. We had promotions, people making cotton candy, people making shaved ice, and people making rootbeer float. We even had cute balloon swads and puppies. We engaged our customers and prompted our organization to people walking by. We also focused on selling our items. The kids loved to see their cotton candy being made. Some kind-hearted people donated money to us when they learned we were raising money to help Cancer patients. After two hours of selling, it was completely dark. We took photos, cleaned the tables, and packed up to go home. Overall, the fundraising event at Rusell Creek was a great success, Thanks to all the hardworking, dedicated, and passionate volunteers. The following is the list of the volunteers.
