On October 5th, 2024, the AYLUS Orlando branch packaged over 1,000 of the 3,500 donate books from our Tito Peter Little Library’s fundraiser.
We partnered with Forex eShip, which is a Phillipino shipping company based in Miami.
Together, we combined together over 1,000 books and set them to Tito Peter’s Public Library. The address for Tito Peter’s Public Library is:
11A Malarayat Street
Lipa Heights Subdivision
Tambo, Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines
This event was an essential part of our ongoing efforts to support literacy initiatives by ensuring that these donated books are properly organized and ready for distribution to communities in need, including those supported by Tito Peter’s Free Public Library in the Philippines.
AYLUS Participants did the following:
- Packaged over 1,000 books donated by schools, neighbors, Libraries, and the general public in Orlando.
- Sorted the books into 10 boxes, and labeled + packaged them for delivery.
- Introduced ourselves and talked with the shipping company, which is also a Phillipino initiative.
