On September 22, 2024, 2 volunteers, Tanya Fu and Lillian Qian, gathered from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to crochet small amigurumi projects and discuss the themed crochet for this month. During this event, our volunteers were able to decide on the monthly theme and work on the patterns used to create the crochet amigurumi. These are a pumpkin and a floaty ghost to celebrate Halloween! We can’t wait to share this with other volunteers in the workshop scheduled for next week. These crochet items are to be gifted to cancer patients at children’s hospitals, along with hats our volunteers make, or sold in the flea market to raise donations. Our volunteers did wonderful work, and we hope to see the results at the next group meeting as well!
