Frisco & Plano Branch Hand Made Animal Toys on September 22nd, 2024

Reported by Audria Tan     Posted by Mateen Benarieb

On September 22nd, we made pet toys using old clothes for the cats and dogs at the animal shelter at one of the volunteers’ residences.  This is the first time for our group to make pet toys.  Our mentor taught us the process of making the toy, by teaching them how to cut old clothes into strips and braid them to the toys.  While it was challenging at first, we finished 7 toys at the end.  After finishing, we cleaned up thoroughly and left no trash behind.  Everyone in the group enjoyed the experience and looks forward to making more pet toys in the future for the well-being of the shelter animals.
