On September 21st, volunteers of AYLUS continued to fundraise at Russell Creek park for the Loops for Love project. This time, because of the low sales of boba tea, we introduced a new item to the shop — Ice cream floats. Ice cream floats are soda with ice cream on top, and turned out to be quite a popular item (especially with the root beer soda). The soda flavors as a whole included Lemonade, Coca Cola, Root Beer, Fanta, and Sprite, as well as Vanilla ice cream to create the float. Starting at 6:30 PM, similarly to other visits, we assigned everyone different roles, and everything went smoothly. After 9 pm, we closed shop and went home (the tables, signs, food/drink materials were divided between two volunteers for the next time).
