On September 21st, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS continued its third year of hosting the “Thank You Firefighters” Campaign. To show their appreciation for the firefighters who work tirelessly to keep their community safe, Murrieta AYLUS members work together to make crafts and buy food to donate to local firefighter stations. At Costco, they selected more items from a variety of categories, including snacks, desserts, fruits, drinks, and a new selection of flowers from the previous week. After arriving at the fire station, they took a photo, then realizing as they rung the doorbell the firefighters were just leaving yet again. After waiting they were able to deliver the food and gifts to a remaining member at the station
