On September 15th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped at local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers began with some light exercise using pool noodles and various stretches, while preparing some cut fruit and yoghurt for a snack. After the exercise, the residents were taken outside to enjoy some fresh air and food. Each resident was given fruits of their choice between avocado, banana, strawberry, grape, and blueberry, which was topped with Greek yoghurt. Afterwards, the residents were taken on walks, and then were taken inside after they all got cold. After some singing, they were all taken to lunch.

On September 15th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members played piano for the seniors.
They greeted the people at the front desk and signed in before chatting with some seniors by the drinks. Then, they made their way to the library and set up the piano. Members saw some familiar seniors who came to listen every week already waiting for them as well as some new faces. Members played a variety of pieces, including a few jazz, classical, romantic, and contemporary pieces. As always, both members and seniors enjoyed seeing each other.
