On September 15th, we made pet toys using old clothes for the cats and dogs at the animal shelter at Cypress Medow Club House, Allen TX. Since this was the first time for some of the volunteers making pet toys, we began by teaching them learning the process. Next, we cut the old clothes into long strips and got to work crafting the toys. After finishing, we made sure to clean up thoroughly and leave no trash behind. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience. We were happy to contribute to the well-being of the shelter animals by making these toys for them.
