On the evening of September 13, 2024,  nine members of our Frisco Plano volunteered at Russell Creek playground in Plano for a fundraising event. It is the first time that we have sold on Friday and we are not sure if will go well. We set up the tables selling boba tea, shaved ice, and cotton candy. We aim to get funds to support “Loop For Love Project”, where we provide chemo-hats for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.  We had two new members join us for the first time, and they diligently promoted our organization. We are focused on selling our items, engaging our customers, and prompting our organization to the people walking by. The cotton candy sells well among little kids. I’m so excited to see their eyes light up when we put a big fluffy cotton candy in their hand. After selling for two hours and thirty minutes, the sky was completely dark. We then cleaned and wrapped up the sale to go home. Overall, the fundraising event at Russell Creek was a great success, thanks to all of the hardworking, dedicated, driven, and passionate volunteers. The following is the list of the volunteers.
