AYLUS Morrisville Branch Collects Books for the African Library Project to Uganda on September 14th 2024

African Library Project (ALP) is an international network of partners, volunteers, and community supporters, book drives are transformed into sustainable libraries. Volunteers in North America organize book drives by rallying their communities to collect gently used children’s books and raise funds for shipping. AYLUS Morrisville Branch launched our first African Library Project (ALP) this summer. Our enthusiastic volunteers organized book drives to collect books. We hope these books will help underserved schools and communities in need of books. Volunteers involved in the second book drive are:

Gaille Saeilm – 110 books, 2.5 hours

Sunny Zhao – 50 books, 1.5 hours

Emma Zhang – 50 books, 1.5 hours

Rebecca Yao – 100 books, 2.5 hours
