On September 1st, 2024 AYLUS members had a beach clean up. They started by going down the road on the sidewalk to search for any trash people may have tossed. They found many plastic bigs which were quickly thrown out. Down at the upper park, they found a number of loose articles including trash bags, chips, and more. As they advanced to the lower park, they found a overflowing trash can which had not been cleaned up in a long time so they did the job and cleaned up the trash can. Finally, the members made their way back to the road where they collected even more garbage along the paths which included a fork and a spoon. They made sure to safely and carefully dispose of all trash in the proper bin.
