Chapel Hill Branch Makes Origami for Cancer Patients on Aug 31, 2024

On Saturday, Aug 31, AYLUS Chapel Hill branch members gathered to make origami for cancer patients. Our volunteers spent the day folding colorful paper into intricate shapes, creating a variety of beautiful origami pieces. These handmade crafts will be included in cancer care kits, which are distributed to patients to bring comfort and encouragement during their treatment. We hope that these origami creations add a touch of joy and positivity to the patients’ experience, reminding them that they are not alone in their fight.

Volunteers who participated in this event are Luna Chen (1 hr), Andrew Zhong (1 hr), Matthew Guo (6 hrs)
