In our ongoing dedication to supporting the Yale Community Kitchen’s mission, members of AYLUS Woodbridge recently participated in another service shift, focusing on food distribution to those in need. On August 30, our volunteers played a crucial role in serving over 100 individuals, ensuring that each person received nourishment and support during their time of need.
Our involvement extended beyond mere food distribution; we actively contributed to setting up the handing out station, ensuring an efficient and organized process for serving meals. Additionally, our team remained committed to the cleanup efforts, ensuring that the space was left orderly and welcoming for future patrons.
Through our collective efforts at the Yale Community Kitchen, we reaffirm AYLUS Woodbridge’s commitment to addressing food insecurity and supporting our community’s most vulnerable members. Each act of service, whether serving meals or assisting with cleanup, contributes to creating a more compassionate and supportive environment for all.
