On 8/27/2024 and 8/29/2024, AYLUS Great Neck hosted two more tutoring sessions for students in the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 4:30pm-6:00 pm.
On August 27th, Four participants and four volunteers collaborated into groups in order for better self improvements. One participant requested math assistance and general discussion with another wanting a bit more advanced math only in Chinese.
A third participant wants to learn more on math and later on history/geography of the world. The final participant only wants to further improve in their English and wished for a volunteer to help achieve that. Overall a relatively good session in productivity and development.

On 8/29/2024, the Great Neck AYLUS branch hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
Sophia and Kylie volunteered to teach four students math and worked through math problems. Sophia worked with two middle schools on the concept of negative numbers and practiced various operations with negative numbers including multiplication and division. After teaching the concept, practice was then done utilizing online math worksheets. Kylie worked on fractions and operations with fractions from a math workbook. The rest of the tutoring session was spent discussing school life for the middle schoolers. Overall, it was a productive tutoring session.
