AYLUS Roslyn has been volunteering with the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation center for people with cerebral palsy, since 2023. Because working with individuals with cerebral palsy requires a lot of careful care, our volunteers underwent a lot of training to prepare themselves for the task. These extremely informative training sessions covered everything from incident reports and dealing with sexual harassment to infection control to dealing with fires. We also went over the ethic code and signed a pledge. By going through training, we are offering new members an opportunity to participate in these events in the future.
