On August 15th, 2024, the AYLUS Orlando branch took significant strides in supporting Tito Peter’s Free Public Library in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. The library, which is dedicated to promoting literacy and education, has recently faced challenges due to a lack of books and textbooks for its visitors. To help address this issue, we organized a book and school supply drive at Trinity Preparatory School.
During the event, we successfully transported over 500 book donations packed in 50 boxes from the Trinity Preparatory Rich Library. This effort was a critical part of our ongoing mission to extend our support beyond local communities, reaching those in need across the globe.
AYLUS Participants:
- Nathan Lu
- Max Wang
- Dylan Wang
- Jimmy Sun
Each participant contributed an hour of service, working together to ensure the books were carefully packed and prepared for shipment. Our efforts were aimed not only at providing essential educational resources but also at fostering a global spirit of generosity and support.
AYLUS Orlando’s Mission: This event underscores our commitment to promoting literacy and education, both locally and internationally. We believe that every individual, regardless of their location, deserves access to the resources necessary for learning and growth. By partnering with organizations like TheKute in New Jersey, we can extend our impact, ensuring that Tito Peter’s Free Public Library can continue its vital work in the Philippines.
We are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our team members and look forward to continuing our mission of service in the Central Floridian area and beyond.
