On August 24 of 2024, members of AYLUS Syosset volunteered at Bethpage Garden Club near Northside Elementary with AYLUS Great Neck. All Six members who participated helped pull at weeds, invasive plants and help the environment. With invasive plants taking over, the natural and plants that belong are being kicked out. With understanding this we must help the community and remove this harmful plants. Not to mention that with native plants disappearing, we replanted them. They will give nutrients to their ecosystem which includes us! After all there are hundreds of thousands of plants, and we must preserve them. We did all this for 2 hours!
