Chapel Hill Branch Installs a Little Library in Bolin Creek Trail on Aug 9, 2024

On Friday, August 9, 2024, a dedicated group of AYLUS Chapel Hill members came together to install a Little Library at Bolin Creek Trail, near the Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden. This Little Library was kindly donated by AYLUS Morrisville off of a grant. The initiative, driven by a shared passion for promoting literacy and community engagement, represents a collaborative effort between branches that will continue in the months ahead. Strategically placed for easy access by all trail visitors, the library aims to offer 24/7 access to free books and foster a love of reading across all age groups. During the installation, many trail visitors warmly welcomed and thanked the volunteers.
