On August 9th, RCA members lend a helping hand to a local food bank. They started at 8 am with setting up the carts and organized the produce.
The members then carefully took fresh items out of the refrigerators and packed them into boxes for distribution. Then they filled numerous food boxes with produce, bread, and baked goods, ensuring that each one was ready to nourish those in need. They also prepared day bags, repacking eggs into smaller cartons and sorting through green peppers, setting aside any that were spoiled to be used for hog feed. Food banks play a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling to put food on the table due to rising inflation and lower wages. Recognizing this vital need, RCA was eager to lend a hand and is committed to continuing their support for this important cause.
