On Saturday, 8/10/24, Syosset AYLUS members made a return to the Eisenhower Park farmer’s market. All kinds of different vendors come together to share their goods with everyone. From pickles and baked goods to candles, the farmers market is an experience for all to enjoy. At Eisenhower Park, there is a stand for everyone even if it’s just to pick up fresh produce.
Volunteers start setting up as early as 8:30 in the morning and start the day at 9:00. They help set up all the tents and organize the booths. Volunteers also stayed active during the day by keeping count of the number of guests, hosting an activities center for children, and letting people know about a specialty booth located close to the market.
