On August 3, 2024, the Pearland Chinese Association hosted a successful Community Connect Happy Hour at the Brazoria Library West Pearland Branch, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The event was attended by approximately 30 Pearland residents, who came together to enjoy an evening of camaraderie, cultural exchange, and networking.
The event’s success was made possible with the dedicated support of AYLUS members, who played a crucial role in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their responsibilities included setting up devices and tables, managing the entrance to welcome guests, and assisting with the cleanup after the event. Their efficiency and commitment allowed the event to proceed seamlessly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all participants.
The Community Connect Happy Hour not only strengthened ties within the Pearland community but also highlighted the spirit of volunteerism and teamwork demonstrated by the AYLUS members.
