AYLUS Open Sky Book Club Hosts Summer Reading Marathon, Kicking Off World Read Aloud Day ,Cary, NC – this summer, volunteers from the AYLUS Open Sky Book Club organized a creative and fun-filled reading marathon at the Cary Learning Center to kick off World Read Aloud Day. The event aimed to spark children’s interest and imagination in reading through picture book readings, theatrical performances, and role-playing activities.
During the event, volunteers brought a variety of picture book stories to life with lively performances that showcased the characters and plots to the children. The kids eagerly participated in the interactions, playing their favorite roles and experiencing the adventures and joys with the stories.
The reading marathon not only celebrated the upcoming World Read Aloud Day but also sought to help more children discover the joy and importance of reading through such engaging activities. AYLUS Open Sky Book Club volunteers plan to organize more similar events in the future, providing more reading opportunities and experiences for the children in the community.
